For a large power plant construction project we are now seeking an
Experienced welding engineer for pipe construction (m/f/d)
The role
- Securing quality during the production of pipes and fittings on manufacturers’ subcontractors’ sites
- Securing quality of subsuppliers by conducting regular inspections
- Give regular feedback to quality management team on outcome of supplier assessments
- Support our expediting team during supplier assessments
- Set up regular reports
- Secure constant compliance with quality standards and deadlines
- Act as liaising person towards client
- Act as liaising person towards authorities and certification bodies
Your profile
- At least 5 years of practical experience in pipe construction, ideally as a QA inspector
- Certification as welding engineer, alternatively as welding technician or specialist (EWF/IIW)
- Fit in Quality Assurance and Quality Control for piping constructions
- In possession of DIN EN ISO 9712 certificate for NDT (VT, RT, MT, PT)
- Capable, used to and willing to take over responsibility
- Good knowledge (written and spoken) of English
- Fit in the use of all usual MS Office programs
- Willing to travel nationally and internationally
- Interculturally fit
- Team-Player
- Self-starter, committed
