For a large power plant construction project we are now seeking an

Experienced welding engineer for pipe construction (m/f/d)

The role

• Securing quality during the production of pipes and fittings on manufacturers’ subcontractors’ sites
• Securing quality of subsuppliers by conducting regular inspections
• Give regular feedback to quality management team on outcome of supplier assessments
• Support our expediting team during supplier assessments
• Set up regular reports
• Secure constant compliance with quality standards and deadlines
• Act as liaising person towards client
• Act as liaising person towards authorities and certification bodies

Your profile

• At least 5 years of practical experience in pipe construction, ideally as a QA inspector
• Certification as welding engineer, alternatively as welding technician or specialist (EWF/IIW)
• Fit in Quality Assurance and Quality Control for piping constructions
• In possession of DIN EN ISO 9712 certificate for NDT (VT, RT, MT, PT)
• Capable, used to and willing to take over responsibility
• Good knowledge (written and spoken) of English
• Fit in the use of all usual MS Office programs
• Willing to travel nationally and internationally
• Interculturally fit
• Team-Player
• Self-starter, committed
